A. Prof. Mohammad Hossein Yazdi is a highly motivated, experienced academic staff/researcher in  mechanical engineering with over 10 years of experience in Heat and Fluid  Flow and Energy projects together with a demonstrated history of  problem-solving level, innovative thinking and interpersonal skills gained  through distinct professional roles. He is an assistant professor, former  head of the mechanical engineering department at Azad University (IAU)  and invited associate research member at National University of Malaysia  (UKM) and International Telematic University Uninettuno in Roma, Italy.  Before joining IAU, He was a senior lecturer, head of faculty research and  director of Centre of Experimental and Computational Fluid Mechanics (CECFM) at INTI International University in Malaysia which was under the  flag of Laureate Education Inc., a corporation based in Baltimore,  Maryland, in the United States (from 2014-2016) and before that a  postdoctoral research fellow at Solar Energy Research Institute at National  University of Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia (From 2013-2014). He obtained his PhD in Mechanical and Materials Engineering (Energy Conversion) in 2012  at UKM-Malaysia, ranked 141st in QS World University Rankings (2008- 2012). My main research contributions are in the application of  thermofluid processes in energy systems using experimental methods  accompanied with analytical/numerical modeling by programming in  house codes and using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software tools  such as the projects, Nanofluid flow and Heat Transfer, Boundary Layer  Flow and Heat Transfer, Heat Exchangers, Waste Heat Recovery,  Photovoltaic/Thermal (PVT) Collectors, Hybrid Solar Systems and Entropy  based Design of Thermal/Fluid Processes. Moreover, he is an innovative  leader of academic programs that have a constructive influence on  student achievement and the department’s growth in infrastructure and  research capacity. Internationally, he has served in prominent leadership  roles in education, research and industry-related projects. He is also global  research consultant and gained strong international experience with  collaboration with some of the world’s prominent research institutes (FTSMalaysia, SERI UKM-Malaysia, La Sapienza Roma, SUSU-Russia, INTI IUMalaysia, SEGi Uni-Malaysia). In particular, he developed a very strong  collaboration in the field of fluid mechanics and heat transfer analysis with  UKM-Malaysia working on the novel theoretical, numerical and  experimental approaches on thermofluid modeling for energy efficiency  applications. He has many technical publications in Tier 1 journals that  have received a total of over 1400 citations.
